Syniverse sets up two new IPX Points of Presence in Bangalore, Mumbai

Syniverse has established two new points of presence (POPs) for its IP Packet eXchange (IPX) network in Bangalore and Mumbai, India. 


BSNL to expand mobile network in AP with investment of Rs. 600 crore

The state owned BSNL will expand its mobile network in Andra Pradesh by adding 2 million lines with an expenditure of Rs 600 crore. Currently BSNL has 9 million lines. The work will begin in October.

HDD Crunch May Have Far-reaching Effects

Storm clouds continue brewing in the usually uneventful land of hard disk drives. The severe flooding that inundated Thailand a few months ago swamped more than 1,000 factories, including some of the world's largest hard disk drive (HDD) manufacturers. Toshiba had to halt production in the majority of its hard disk production facilities, while world number one HDD maker Western Digital ceased all production in the country.
