Codan Radio Communications is pleased to announce its collaboration with ORBCOMM , to launch Codan’s ConvoyTM multi-mode telematics platform for global asset management. ORBCOMM is providing ruggedized, dual-mode hardware, satellite and cellular connectivity as well as robust device management in conjunction with Codan’s High Frequency (HF) radio technology to support the Convoy system.
The integrated Convoy platform provides customers with location tracking and remote management of deployed radio assets, including visibility and control for security-based applications. By utilizing the Convoy platform, customers gain reliable communications in remote regions around the world, better network availability and redundancy, increased situational awareness, and lower network operating costs. Convoy also features an intuitive web portal, which can be used to manage remote radio assets and perform health checks, decommissions and key software, firmware and security updates.
