Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, on Wednesday launched a Device Identify solution for analyzing the behavior of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) device type in support of more precise network operations.
The increasing diversification of devices necessitates the behavior analysis of device so network development plans can be based on more accurate data. Huawei’s Device Identify solution adopts leading architecture and algorithms without adding network equipment and resources. With such a solution, device types, such as the Apple iPhone series, Android phones, Windows Mobile phones, data cards and feature phones, can be intelligently identified based on their behavior, including web browsing, micro blogging and downloading.

Based on the solution’s device type identification feature, traffic models can be established to compare the impact of different devices on signaling and traffic. With such a solution, dedicated optimization, network planning and deployment as well as user development reference have become reality.
